Siliguri Government Polytechnic (SGP) since its foundation (1998) has been playing a distinct role in the field of Engineering. It is situated in Siliguri, Dist. Darjeeling, West Bengal 734006. It is a government institute which offers only diploma courses. The courses offered by SGP are approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and the college is affiliated to WBCTE (West Bengal Council of Technical Education).
