Kotdwar or Kotdwara is a town and tahsil in the Pauri Garhwal district of Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is situated in the south-western part of state and is one of the main entrance points in the state of Uttarakhand. The Government Polytechnic Kotdwara was established in 2005. GPK is recognized by the UBTER and approved by the Government of India.
