To accelerate the spread of technical education in Karnataka, Government of Karnataka has sanctioned 21 polytechnics during the year 2007-08. Our institution is one among them which started functioning since 1st July 2008 with an intake strength of 159 students out of sanctioned 160 strength. It started its activities in a school building temporarily.
