Government Women Polytechnic College had first opened its doors in 1986 in Alkapuri area of Udaipur. In 1997 the college was shifted in its own building situated at Pratapnagar in Udaipur. The intake capacity is 60 students and the eligibility criteria for admissions is 10th pass and above, in any discipline.The college offers diploma in 3 branches Beauty Culture, Interior Decoration and Textile Design.
