The college Govt. Polytechnic, Berla was founded in the year 2016 by Govt. of Chhattisgarh. The growing demand for technicians in state has steered the foundation of the college and is headed by founder Principal Shri. Prakash Kumar Pandey. The initially launched courses are Diploma in Civil Engg., Diploma in Electrical Engg. And Diploma in Mechanical Engg.
