Govt. of Goa established Government Polytechnic Curchorem with the intention of spreading Technical Education to the rural areas. It was established on 16th August 1996 at Cada Complex, Amona, as its temporary premises with the introduction of the course Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The college comprised of 03 sheds belonging to the irrigation department. From these humble beginnings the college is imparting valuable education to all those who cross it’s threshold.
