CSIO-Indo Swiss Training Center (ISTC) was established in the year 1963 in collaboration with the Swiss Foundation for Technical Assistance, Switzerland. It was formally inaugurated on 18th December, 1963 by the late Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. Since its inception, the Centre has come a long way and made its presence felt at the regional and the national level. The Centre has interdisciplinary programmes in tune with global trends in technical education.
