The word “Pharmacy” has been derived from Greek word “Pharmakon” which means drug. The concept of Pharmacy is not only confined to compounding and dispensing of drug but Pharmacy is now one of the important divisions of Healthcare system along with Medical Sciences. Today, the discipline of pharmacy has made enormous progress and has matured as a distinctly independent branch as pharmaceutical sciences.
