This Polytechnic is a Government Aided Institution situated at Kuknoor.The Institution is located in a sprawling campus of 12 acres. This was the first Polytechnic and only one Polytechnic, established in undivided Raichur district (now in Koppal district carved out of the Raichur district) in 1984-85 and providing quality education for last 34 years in this rural and backward area of Hyderabad-Karnataka.
