To realize Sir M.Vishweshwarayya's vision in developing the Leather Sector in the state, Karnataka Institute of Leather Technology (KILT) was established in the year 1983-84. The institute was registered during the year 1995-96 under Society Registration Act 1960. KILT is a AICTE & Department of Technical Education (DTE), GOK approved institute conducting 3 years Diploma course in Leather & Fashion Technology.
