The L. N. Mithila University in pursuance of the order of the Bihar Government issued notification regarding establishment of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Women’s Institute of Technology (Formerly known as Women’s Institute of Technology) as a unit of L. N. Mithila University vide Letter No. 4346-4488 dated April 21, 2004.
