The Polytechnic was sanctioned with two Diploma in Engineering Courses namely Civil and Mechanical with an intake of 60 in each course. The institution is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (A I C T E), New Delhi and is affiliated to State board of Technical Education and Training (S B T E & T), Andhra Pradesh and is functioning under the administrative control of Commissioner of Technical Education, Govt. of A.P
