Govt.Polytechnic,Cheepurupalli was established in the year 2013,vide GO MS NO-41.dt:30/05/2013 of Higher Education (TE-1) DEPT,Govt of A.P with two branches DEEE & DME of 60 intake for each branch. First batch of admissions took place from the academic year 2014-15. Later in the year 2017, Sri Gadde Babu Rao, former MLC &MLA donated of AC.5.00 cts of land along with building to the institution and the Institution is renamed as N.K.N.
