The Govt. Polytechnic, Kavali was established in the year 2009. Government have accorded administration sanction for starting Govt. Polytechnic in Kavali, in SPSR Nellore District for the academic year 2009-10 with two courses i.e Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with intake of 60 Seats in each course.
