The innovation entrepreneurship and venture development program seeks to help budding innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs form their ideas, turn them into viable goods and services, and launch their start-ups. They can then expand and grow into successful and sustainable businesses.

This two-year program was developed and constructed with serious, deep, wide, and important views from professionals (from industry, academia, and government) and co-created with the participating institutions based on their combined wisdom. This two-year full-time program has been designed to accommodate a fine blend of knowledge and application. It has a greater practical component, with a large portion of the program curriculum delivered outside the classroom (around 60% of the credits earned) through action research, experiential learning, simulations, skill & competency development modules, guided projects, etc. Students will be able to identify, recognize, manage, and cultivate their entrepreneurial aptitude as part of the curriculum, which will take them on a progressive journey via multiple tracks ranging from the Foundation of Management & Entrepreneurship Track.

What is Innovation Entrepreneurship and Venture Development?

The Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Venture Development program is a two-year full-time program that teaches students how to manage entrepreneurial ventures, technology innovation, and commercialization processes to develop business plans and ideas. The program's major goal is to help entrepreneurs realize their business aspirations while assisting the government with its start-up objectives. With this goal in mind, the program instills entrepreneurial competencies, or abilities, in students, such as self-confidence, planning, information seeking, goal setting, problem-solving, and calculated risk-taking, to produce a competent entrepreneur and a successful business administrator of tomorrow. The course enables students to turn their entrepreneurial vision or plan into reality by allowing them to acquire skills and facilitate learning in the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture development from the foundation to advanced stages, while also allowing them to apply their entrepreneurial skills in real-life situations, validate ideas, and take innovative steps.
