About Information Technology (Information and Cyber Warfare)

Cyberwarfare in information technology plays an important role in almost every day of our life. Government Agencies, education organisations, businesses, companies each and everything needs a computer to extend their routine operations, and this is to enhance the ability of an organisation to conduct activities in a cost-efficient and effective manner. This field aims to provide a student with a better understanding of why, when, what, who, how, and where cyber warfare. Therefore, understanding the subject would certainly facilitate the development of highly Effective offensive and defensive strategies of an organisation in meeting the future challenges of the cyber warfare threat.

What is Information Technology (Information and Cyber Warfare)?

Information technology in information and Cyberwarfare is the study that is defined as attacking and defending information and computer network in cyberspace, as well as annoying and adversaries ability to do the same, will be used in this area. It is important to learn and understand cyber warfare for a simple reason because of the environment we are in now. With the great advances in Information and Communication Technologies and their impact on our society, a considerable percentage of our life and activities have come to depend heavily on the information infrastructure. This dependency is very much an ant in both the public and private sectors. Vital factors of public life such as road, air, Railway traffic control, the dissemination of energy like electricity or gas, Telecommunication system through the use of computers and network systems. This situation is not much different in the private sector. Computers and the internet are highly involved in working, communicating, buying or selling products, running businesses, controlling or investing money. This subject is important and has been seriously thought out by the military intelligence organisations and the executive officers at Banks, security firms, and other companies. Defence and intelligence officials appear that enemy Nation terrorists and criminal groups may carry out cyber warfare assaults against the network in the areas that include the banking system, electric utilities in several states and power plants, telephone networks, trains update, traffic control centre, battlefield tank etc. I hope the subject could provide a better understanding of cyber warfare and the understanding, without doubt, help the organisation understanding how to meet the future challenges of Cyber threats.

Eligibility and Career in Information Technology (Information and Cyber Warfare)

Admission offered for this course involves two ways the merit-based admission and entrance based admission. To pursue merit base admission for this course, B. Tech in engineering a student must have cleared certificate of 10+ two examinations from a recognised state or Central Board with the minimum aggregate mark of 60 per cent along with this physics, chemistry and maths as the major subject. Relaxation in marks varies for different categories and according to the different colleges also. Entrance based administration admission is offered after seeing the basic performance in the entrance examinations. A student has to clear this exam with a minimum of 60. The central education board conducts this entrance exam to provide admission in the top colleges of India's like JEE mains, UPSEE, BITSAT, SRMJEE, and more. These are the eligibility criteria for taking this course—an undergraduate program four-year-long course in engineering that includes eight semesters. The demand for engineering in the world is huge because they are working with real-world applications.
