Computer Science & Business Systems aims to provide students with technological and business skills and proper exposure to ensure students become career ready. This course aims to give students core knowledge of computer science with an adequate understanding of business procedures, discipline, and innovative abilities to use the prospective industries they get into.

This course is in huge demand these days because of a need for digital skills among engineering graduates. In today's world, many students are suffering from an employability crisis and, as such, are unable to get good jobs. However, this course improves students' skills by using the technical skills they have learned to create efficient business management systems and solve other issues of big and small businesses.

WHAT IS COMPUTER SCIENCE & BUSINESS SYSTEMS?

Computer Science & Business Systems aims to provide students with both knowledge of business as well as technical skills. The goal is to provide students with enough knowledge to tackle business issues using their computer skills. The course also aims to improve a student’s communication skills right from the start of the system. There will also be a focus on data science, ai etc. This course will focus more on skills rather than theory, making it more important for students in the long run than the traditional approach.

The course equips the students with an  Understanding of Contemporary Technology, its possible applications, the basics of business management, innovative thinking, and ethical development of students. Students are given industrial training and live projects in most colleges through eminent experts, which provides the students with first-hand experience dealing with business issues. It is ensured that students learn about upcoming subjects such as analytics, machine learning and cloud computing to be even more productive in future. Any student who passes out from this course is expected to be in massive demand in the prospective industry they choose to be a part of.

Students who take part in this course can hope to see the following curriculum- in the first semester, students are taught discrete mathematics and probability + statistics, which help in data sciences and business communication. The next semester will deal with object-oriented programming and automata theory. The data structure, linear algebra and statistical modelling are taught in the second year. A business strategy, compiler design, computer networks and AI form the highlight in the next seems. Finally, financial management, HR management, Services Science, Market Research are taught at the end.

ELIGIBILITY AND CAREER IN COMPUTER SCIENCE & BUSINESS SYSTEMS

A student must have scored above 60% in Grade 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. B tech in this field is a four-year course with eight semesters. Students can work in the following positions like Software Developer, Database Administrator, Computer Systems Analyst, Web Developer etc.
