Mobile computing includes a wide range of activities related to designing, developing and testing mobile applications using appropriate solutions.

About Mobile Computing

The field of mobile computing includes a wide range of activities related to designing, developing and testing mobile applications using appropriate solutions. This includes learning about the technology required for performing various tasks on portable devices. Examples of portable devices are smartphones, tablets, laptops, wearable devices, vehicles, etc. After completing this specialisation, students should develop cross-platform mobile applications that employ algorithmic and programming concepts beyond those available on Android and iOS. By taking this course, students can pursue their passion for building mobile apps or expand their job prospects as Mobile Apps Developers, Android Developers, Mobile Technical Lead/Architects, Mobile Solutions consultants, Hybrid Mobile Application Developers, Mobile Software Architects and more.

What is Mobile Computing?

In this module, you will learn about the basics of mobile technologies such as 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE and LTE-advanced. Additionally, students will understand mobile operating systems, such as Android, BlackBerry, and iOS. They feature topics such as the fundamentals of mobile application design, development, and testing. Students learn the essential concepts of mobile application development in this module. Analysing, developing, and deploying mobile applications using Android Studio are the primary objectives of the course. The number of mobile and wireless devices is outpacing computers worldwide today. Mobile devices, such as smartphones provide convenient access to the Internet and the ability to make phone calls and run applications vital to our lives; therefore, these devices have become tempting targets for cybercriminals. There is a growing threat to mobile, and wireless devices, networks, and services delivered directly through the mobile infrastructure and this course will address that threat. Students will gain the knowledge and skills they need to develop secure software during this module. Students should develop the ability to analyse source code for security vulnerabilities and identify the open source and closed source third-party Work on proof-of-concept exploits and applications. Also covered in this module are the theoretical and fundamental principles of cryptography and general system security.

Eligibility and Career in Mobile Computing

With the cost of education being so low compared to the amount of money you can make, mobile app development is one of the best careers to choose. If you are good at technical problem solving and have strong focus abilities, consider a career in mobile computing. The study of computer science is an excellent choice for students who enjoy math and problem-solving. Students who study this field may pursue lucrative careers that are in high demand in the future. A four-year computer science degree is challenging but well worth the effort. Mobile computing has grown tremendously in recent years, and it is predicted that mobile computing will control almost all technological activities in the future. This will be a projection that will be examined in this research paper. Mobile is simply a term for a computing device that is not restricted. There is no doubt that this degree provides the best opportunity to excel in end-user computing, systems administration, and systems engineering since it encompasses all those aspects.
