About Nano Science & Technology

The study, particles, structures, manipulation and engineering of the whole thing on the nanoscale scale are called NanoScience (one-millionth of a millimetre, the scale of atoms and molecules). Nanotechnology and Nano Science are at the cutting edge of modern study. The rapidly expanding economy in this sector necessitates individuals with exceptional Nano Science understanding and the ability to apply that knowledge to new goods. Multidisciplinary scientific education is essential for providing industry and research institutes with top-tier experts who have a broad understanding of various sub-disciplines such as electronics, physics, chemistry, material science, and biotechnology while also being experts in a single field. This is what the Nano Science & technology program has to offer.

What is Nano Science & Technology?

In Nano Science & technology, you'll master the fundamentals of physics, biology, and chemistry on a nanoscale scale, as well as technology and engineering courses to help you grasp practical applications. Furthermore, you will be able to specialize in a specific field of Nano Science as part of the curriculum. A solid multidisciplinary scientific foundation combined with individual high-level specialization within a particular area of Nano Science. Nano Science & technology have recently emerged as a promising field in the knowledge bank, with plenty of room for innovation to handle science, society's, and humanity's complex problems. It is essentially the study and manipulation of sub-micron matter characteristics for technical applications in general and demanding applications in particular. It covers the basics and applications of material systems/structures with at least one dimension ranging from 1 nm to 100 nm in size (nanoscale). The nanoscale is an interdisciplinary branch of knowledge representing traditional disciplines such as physics, chemistry, material science, biology, and medicine. As a result, our attitude toward science and technology has changed dramatically. Modern synthetic chemistry allows for the creation of molecules and molecular assemblies with specific morphologies. Simultaneously, advances in physics and related fields have created tools for engineering, visualizing, and manipulating matter at the nanoscale. At the nanoscale, new qualities develop, acting as a catalyst for innovation and, as a result, a key to global economic life. The curriculum aims to give in-depth knowledge of fundamental areas of Nano Science & Technology, with a focus on nanoscale synthesis, visualization, and manipulation. It is anticipated that students will be prepared for positions in the nanomaterials, nanobiotechnology, and nanoelectronics industries.
