ABOUT ADVANCED MANUFACTURING AND MECHANICAL SYSTEM DESIGN

Engineering in Advanced manufacturing and mechanical system design is a course to understand how to model and analyze the system and manufacturing processes and apply sophisticated computational techniques. This course also helps students understand and equip the manufacturing systems and adapt to international standards. Masters in Advanced manufacturing and mechanical system design will enable students to gain experience in group courses and gain experience for jobs and projects at top companies worldwide.

WHAT IS ADVANCED MANUFACTURING AND MECHANICAL SYSTEM DESIGN COURSE?

The course engineering in advanced manufacturing and mechanical design is of 12 months. Throughout the course, students complete many in-group projects as well as reports and thesis. And as their final project, the students will also be doing project work in a top-rated company or enterprise, which will help them gain a sense of leadership. This last project will help them gain leadership skills which will finally result in acceleration of engineering skills.  A student who graduates from this course will have the qualities and qualifications to become an employee in the top-rated companies. Those Students who graduated from this course can become an innovator in any manufacturing firm or start a manufacturing firm of their own. Students will go through this course by combining both the theory and practice to give the students a formalize or compressed experience. This experience will make them well-prepared to face any challenge that will come their way. The curriculum of this course covers various topics, such as manufacturing processes, control of manufacturing processes, supply chains, and business fundamentals. During the course period, the students will have to do lab projects and work, which will be related to the chapters that they are learning. When the students do practicals, it will be easier for them to understand the concepts.

ELIGIBILITY AND CAREER IN ADVANCED MANUFACTURING AND MECHANICAL SYSTEMS DESIGN

Along with the learnings of the classroom, the students will participate in extracurricular activities, which will later show in their final result.  The extracurricular activities include interaction with industry leaders, manufacturing entrepreneurs, and many other activities. As above said, the students would have to take an eight-month course to finalize the procedure. This eight-month project is known as Group Project in Industry. During these eight months, the students will have to go to a manufacturing company, and there they will be asked to solve a problem. And they will also be asked to produce their final MEng thesis as a part of the course completion. The students of this course upon graduation will be placed on a variety of jobs. The job placements include manufacturing positions that range from the engineering of semiconductors to introducing new products, manufacturing management, and supply chain development. The students can also get PhDs after graduation.  After attaining a PhD, they can also become a  faculty member at the same college or any other college. There is also an option of starting their firms for consulting. This course will help the students prepare for the placement days by giving them enough training.
