What is Communication Engineering and Signal Processing?

Communication engineering and signal processing deal with the strong theoretical foundation and the research skills to identify, analyse, and solve engineering problems about signal processing systems' design, development, and deployment. Studying this course makes an ability to independently carry out research/ investigation and development work to solve practical problems, write and present substantial technical reports/ documents and also engage in lifelong learning sources to understand the challenges of rapidly changing environment, learn the latest technology and products and adapt their skills through reflective and continuous learning.

This course deals with the manager topics like Digital Signal Processing, information theory, wavelets, video processing and application, multimedia security, transform theory, neural networks, computer vision algorithms, multidimensional Signal Processing, pattern recognition and analysis, adaptive signal processing, multi-rate Signal Processing and filter banks. This course enables a graduate to impart solid mathematical skills and in-depth knowledge in signal theory and analyse and solve complex engineering problems.

Edibility and Career Options in Communication Engineering and Signal Processing

The admission policy and procedure shall be decided from time to time by the institute's board of management following guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education department, Government of India. The Board of Management will decide the number of seats in each branch of the engineering program as the derivatives from educational departments of the Consent States of India. Some seats of non-residents Indians and a few seats for foreign nationals shall be made available.

When applying for admission, the candidate should have passed /appeared and be awaiting the result of the final examination of the 10+2 system or its equivalent with mathematics, chemistry as subjects of studies. The selected candidates will be admitted to the undergraduate programme after fulfilling all the institute's admission requirements and after the payment of prescribed fees. In all matters relating to admission to the undergraduate engineering program, the decision of the institute and its interpretation is given by the chancellor of the institute shall be final.

The duration of the program will be a minimum of four years, along with eight semesters. Every branch of the Bachelor of Engineering program will have a curriculum and syllables for the courses approved by the Academic Council.
