Govt. Polytechnic College Sanwad is one of the premier technical institute of country with international repute. The institute was established in 1965 with Central Govt. Open Door in Sanawad as Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Polytechnic. The institute was under taken by Govt. of M.P. on 3rd July 1989. Now it is known as Govt. Polytechnic College Sanawad.
